Green light spells movement

 

So we finally have absolute and total promise from the parents that they are coming too. It was the final obstacle in getting the show on the road. Now, they have said yes. Which means, it's time to move.

That is very exciting and also a little bit scary. So much to do but we can do it. I work better to a deadline anyway. It was a total relief. I was beginning to wonder if they would go but they have talked about it, discussed it, gone through it all. It's the only way and I think they are quite excited about it.

There's a lot there for them. A smaller place means getting around a bit more plus it's old fashioned so there are shops they want to go to. My dad is so sociable, he will build a network of friends immediately. My mother isn't and she's quite happy for a different view through the window while she watches Judge Judy. It's all good.

So now I have to get busy. First move, sell the house. I'm going to talk to some housing associations to see if they want to buy it and after that, estate agents to see how much would come off the price for the tidying up that needs done. And then, we're off!
